Built in cast plaster, lime wash, and salvaged steel, Cairn Study, No. 2 extends Stone Sunday's interest in the hush of gallery light across lime-washed planes. The surface is deliberately layered, allowing shifts in color and edge to stay visible rather than resolving into a polished finish.

Artist statement
I want sculpture to feel slow. The forms I build are simple enough to read quickly, but the relationships between weight, shadow, and surface are meant to unfold over time.
