About this work
Border Light I is a acrylic and aerosol on panel work shaped around night color settling over desert architecture. Lark Mason keeps the palette anchored in aubergine, desert peach, and sand so the whole body of work reads as a single conversation.

I am interested in the moment a clean structure starts to loosen. A painting becomes real for me when order and accident can both still be seen.
